Senses Trail, Soroka
This project was a part of "Florence in Emergency," an initiative that began at the outset of the war. Several designers from various disciplines arrived at Soroka Hospital to tackle issues arising from the emergency through design interventions.
During the first week of the war, 29 concrete cubes were placed alongside the children's MRI window as there was no protection. These cubes posed an aesthetic nuisance to the hospital environment and contributed to the prevailing emergency atmosphere. Another designer and I decided to create an interactive experience that integrates navigating among the concrete cubes. Through this experience, children learn about their senses using QR code scans and can engage in physical games amidst the cubes.
The website is currently in development and will soon be launched by Soroka Hospital.
